Thanks Brett. It is a crazy instrument. It is amazing what people learn to play. _________________ Just north of the Weird place, south of Georgetown |

I've noticed that solo hurdy-gurdy is nearly always displayed in the control of a comely lass. German player Patty Gurdy is a good example.

I have nothing to add to the Hurdy Gurdy Discussion. I just wanted to say hi Bret and I am glad to see you back on the forum and posting. |

Donovan (a hippy singer back in the late '60s) had a hit record called "Hurdy-Gurdy Man", and I always wondered why the instrument wasn't featured in that song? ![Shocked](images/smiles/icon_eek.gif) |
