I bought this from Steve Lipsey and have copied his description. I hate to sell this incredible amp but I just need to sell to raise some cash. I used this amp sparingly in my practice room only.

->This one has the custom bias switching option - cathode bias for more touch sensitivity and easy tube swap, fixed bias for more power, more clean headroom and tighter bass. Even on cathode bias, this amp has no trouble keeping up with a loud band without being mic'ed....with volume to spare.

Hear Mark Spencer play his Sideman on tour with Son Volt at

(steel solo is from 2:18-2:50, gets clearer as it goes). Poor recording, but you get the idea….

Hear me (Steve) play this Sideman at https://thestubbornloverspdx.bandcamp.com/album/the-stubborn-lovers
(steel is more obvious after the first song)

Dimensions:
roughly, it is slightly smaller than a Twin Reverb...and a lot lighter.
10 1/2 deep (less at the top, cabinet tapers)
20 high
25 wide (Twin Reverb is 26 ½)

From Tim's website:
The Milkman Sideman is a 50W cathode biased dual channel Class AB vacuum tube amplifier. Channel 1 is voiced for guitar, channel 2 is voiced for pedal steel and features the same preamp circuit as the Milkman Pedal Steel Amplifier. Dual channel tube spring reverb with tone control works with both channels.

This amplifier comes stock with a 15" Telonics Neo speaker. The Telonics speaker is the highest quality JBL K-130 type speaker made today. However, unlike the JBL the Telonics speaker weighs only 7lbs - because of this speaker, theSideman weighs in at 42lbs making it a very portable and powerful option for steel guitar or electric guitar.

Channel one has a Fender tweed style single knob tone circuit for the purest guitar tone possible, and channel two has 3 knob EQ with scooped midrange tailored for steel guitar. However, there is no right or wrong way to use this amp! Channel 1 sounds great for steel and channel 2 sounds great with guitar as well.

The Sideman is designed for versatility, and because it is cathode biased you can swap 6550 or 6L6GC output tubes with no need for bias adjustment. The silicon rectifier is socket mounted so that a 5AU4 or 5AR4 rectifier can be installed for even more tonal options. An optional fixed bias circuit (included in this amp) allows you to raise headroom and increase wattage.

Like every Milkman amplifier, the Sideman is built onto a 1/8” Garolite Turret board with Watts double turrets. NOS Allen Bradley carbon composition resistors, Jupiter Condensers, Mercury Magnetics transformers, and Mojotone US made cloth wire are also standard. A Studio Slips complete clamshell cover is included.

$2,200 + CONUS only shipping - Perfect condition, includes custom clamshell amp cover.
