Hi guys! I have an old Marrs pedal steel I'm fixing up to sell and was wondering what people do with the plastic rod ends. I already had one snap on my B Pedal. I figure they are getting brittle with age and want to fix it right for the next owner. What do you use to replace them? Is there a place to source these?
Thanks!

Maybe you can remove those metal pins, drill holes in the pedals, thread them an attach the standard metal connectors. _________________ ----------------------------------

Mcmaster Carr has stuff like that. I would think nylon wouldn't change much with age but I may be wrong. |

Andrew,
I think you could probably use Emmons style pedal rod hex connectors to replace your plastic ones. Michael Yahl sells them in both natural and black anodized aluminum. They are threaded for #10-32 pedal rods and the hole for the dowel pin is 3/16"

Hi all, thanks so much for the kind replies. Sierra Guitars ended up supplying me with some rod ends that will fit the Marrs, you can contact them to order some. I just had to drill them out to fit, It looks like they will work great and they're of high quality! Thanks! |
