Not sure if this is Denny or not,,,best version of "Here's That Rainy Day" I've ever heard. A lot of old pics of Bobby Dardemans family and others,,

This is something else that looks like it was posted by Bobby Dardeman,,came up under a search for Denny. Lot of old pics of Buddy, Randy Rienhart, Jimmy,,,cool old pic of Willie and Johnny Bush

Sonny,
The credits seem to imply that Bobby Dardeman is playing steel on that recording, but it sounds exactly like "Buddy Emmons Live 1977 - Here's That Rainy Day"

Strange, isn't it?

I listened to "Denny's" version,,,then Buddy's,,,same length of time, but start off totally different,,,and really different throughout. Maybe Tommy Detamore will chime in,,he would know.

I've heard great things about Denny Mathis for years but I've never heard him play.

does anyone have samples? this version of Rainy Day isn't Denny at all. it's Buddy from his live ISGC album, as Dave pointed out

Denny plays regularly for Two Tons of Steel,,plays a triple neck Stringmaster. Like Tom Morrel, Denny is just as comfortable on non pedal as pedal. I don't think Denny would take a back seat to anyone.
