Hi all, I hope this is not too dumb of a question. I'm working on applying some U10 logic to a 70s sho bud. This one has the 2 over 2 fingers, except on the E strings, which have 3 over 2 fingers. Of course it is the 4th string giving me trouble. When I'm in B6 mode, I'm going to need to raise the 4th string *back up* to E. Is this even possible on the nylon tuner Sho Buds? If so, what's the process?
For context, that E string goes up to F with LKL, down to D# (B6 mode) with LKR, and up to F# with the C pedal. So the typical 2 raise one lower of E9, except we also need a split to take D# back to E with pedal 5.
I THINK I would just put another rod in the extra raise hole and run it to a bell crank on pedal 5, but this seems too easy.
Thanks in advance, all!

You could do it that way, and tune it back up to E whilst activating both the LKR and pedal 5.
If you were to activate pedal 5 on its own, you will probably (but maybe not) get an out of tune note somewhere around F#, so obviously you would only use pedal 5 when the LKR is activated |

Sweet - thanks for the guidance! And yeah, I realize 5 would only work right with LKL engaged. |
