Congratulations to Ron and Fred on making a very economical high quality steel guitar. Ron was great at communicating with me about the setup and some custom things I wanted. He routed the pickup cavity to accommodate a second pickup near the end of the fretboard that I will install. I got the basic 2 pedal, 1 knee model with a custom copedent. None of that was a problem at all. The guitar was done in just a few weeks. The second pickup isn’t in yet but I put in another knee lever from spare parts I had.
It’s very well made, light weight and sounds really good. Great sustain and a Lawrence pickup with a clear bell like quality that reminds me of the Emmons, Derby and Carters I’ve had. A very compact case comes standard. This guitar can be expanded to 4+4 if need be but I wanted a VERY simple E9(actually D9 right now) setup so I probably won’t change anything more. Jerry, I have not actually weighed it. I’m not really in a position right now to check that because I don’t have a scale but just judging from picking it up I’d say in the case it’s well under 40 pounds and out of the case I would say 25 tops. That’s just a guess. You could probably ask Justice guitars for the exact weights.
By the way I did put that second pick up in. I put a three-way switch in that blends it with the original pick up - in one position in phase, in the middle position it’s off and the other position it’s out of phase.

| It is a pretty guitar. It was a fun challenge doing the custom things you wanted. Thanks for the positive feed back. It weighs in at about 23# out of the case and in the case about 32#. |

Beautiful, I'm sure it sounds great with blended pickups that's a great idea.
I am wondering if 2 pickups limit where you can pick? My Georg L is scratched up cause i'll sometimes pick over it for cutting tone.

Gene I don't think it would limit where you pick it.
The sweet spot on most all PSG's is about the 4th or 5th fret in from the end of the fret board.
Now I'll tell ya, these little S10~Jr. have enough tone by their self to jump up and bite your nose right off your face, simply amazing tone.
