Well dreams do come true Randy surprised his son with this awesome Sho Bud!!
According to serial number My LDG was built two months after Lloyd's original green LDG. Has a set of new live strings.

Built in1973 One over one changer, brass barrels behind two hole bell cranks. This model is known for good tone.

Price increase for new case an two days of buffing aluminum an detail work an fresh setup.

I bought this Sho Bud minus a case.
Price is $3100 plus Ride with brand new case new
Pictured here is a case I built for a small steel
A new Bud case will have four latches an 4 hinges. An no volume pedal space in case.

For split. New cases $3200 plus Ride

Trades welcome for pedal steels with good bones only. $$3100 plus ride
No string groves on changer fingers what so ever like new condition
Leg holes are nice an tight as a fiddle string no wobble period.
Grover keys are all smooth as silk.
Has original single coil Bud pick up
If anyone has a interest in this Bud contact info.

I'd love to own this guitar. However due to the situation it really should go to Randy's Son due to it being so close to Dickie's.

There is no question in my mind that Dickey Overbey's Grandson should have this guitar. I hope he gets it. If I could help make it happen, I surly would.

Thank you Rick for your help
Am trying to convey to the potential buyers this is not your run of the mill Sho Bud.
It’s like this in car terms
A barn find Corvette with 300,000 thousand miles
Or a barn find corvette with 15,000 miles.
