Hey ya'll
I'm looking to put a new nut on my dobro, but wondering what type of glue I should use? I feel like I should do something a little stronger than the average guitar glue, so I figured I'd get some opinions here. Thanks in advance!

| What material will you use for the nut. I use bone nuts and make sure all mating surfaces are smooth and flat. Then I use super glue. Super glue has always worked perfectly for me. |

yeah its a bone nut. I figured super glue would be fine, just wanted to make sure someone else has had an experience with it before using it

| I like to use just a tiny drop of Titebond, because if you ever need to take it back off, it's quick and easy. Just heat it up with a lightbulb for about a minute, put a woodblock behind it, give the block a light hammer whack, and voila: it'll pop right off. |

| I second the Titebond. Super glue is not very forgiving and clean up can be a mess. |
