Posted on FB. It's done with a lot of skill but not my cup of tea. Makes one wonder how this would look on a lap steel? '59 Jazzmaster.

What a terrible thing to do to a '59 Jazzmaster body. (Even one with a bad paint job). A lap steel like that could be fun, though.

I don't have any problem refinishing beat up old guitars but I've seen more elegant painted guitars than this one. This Hawaiian fish hook design is much more in line with my taste.

That would make a fine steel, especially with no neck pickup dampening.

is the company that makes the square neck retrofit for Fender bodies. I thought the company was called lap dancer, but when I googled it, I didn’t see any guitar parts.
