Thought maybe someone would benefit from this Macgyvery.
I whipped this thing up the past few days. I had an old percussion table top and a snare stand hanging around and decided I’d cut up some scrap plywood and make myself a small little board for my steel (tuner and reverb mostly). I rewired my volume pedal so the second amp out on it is jumped directly to the input so it always sends signal even with the volume pedal off. So the board has a tuner input and a steel input and a hole for the power cables for the pedals (on the side not seen in the photo), on the back it has pass thru’s for the steel input and tuner input as well as jacks for left and right outputs of pedals (incase i go stereo ever) i did this so all the cables signal cables approach the same way, and so i wouldnt have to drill out the fiberglass table top. The third side of the board bottom has amp left and amp right outputs and a powercon for my powersupply. Worked out really well, only had to buy a few pieces of hardware to make it happen! Next i need to trim my machine screws ever so slightly, lay loop side over the top piece of plywood, and get back to pickin! |

Jeff, that's a nifty setup and if it works for you that's what counts. I have rigged up a bracket for my Line 6 pod HD to connect to the steel leg. Tommy Dodd had some cool ones long ago, so I borrowed from his design. Necessity is the mother of invention. |

Larry,
You are right about necessity! I mainly work as a guitar tech, so I kind of love little tinkering projects like this. If I didnt have the table top and the snare stand I was looking at the pack a seat struts that “besdang gizmos†makes. They are pretty slick too. They slide into the under seat compartment and hold a smallish pedal board off to the side of your seat, always a fan of easy setup and teardown!

I agree. He was making some useful stuff. I thought about those seat struts and a shelf before I decided on the leg clamp idea. Easy setup is a must. |

This is the solution I came up with.
