National Model D (Square neck)
This guitar is in very good to excellent condition.
It was made in San Luis Obispo, CA. in the early 2000's. All original!
National cast aluminum spider bridge.
Handspun National cone.
Traditional fan-style coverplate.
Screened sound-hole rings. Square walnut neck,
Slotted headstock with Engraved logo,
3-on-a-plate tuners, 1-15/16" nut, 24-3/4" scale, inlaid fret lines.
Tim Scheerhorn designed Schertler pickup and external preamp, installed by National.
G&C US-made hard shell case
$1300 + $75 shipping (or best offer)

Hey Paul, thanks for your interest. Sorry, I don't have any videos or sound files to post. I would describe the tone as having a pronounced mid range. Great for blues but not very bright so probably not the best choice for bluegrass... Thanks. |

A feature that I love about the Model D and you didn't mention is that the strap on the coverplate that protects the bridge is removeable.
You also didn't mention that it's a really good price! |
