Hi all I know it's standard slide guitar but have a listen to the Skin it back or Tripe face boogie solos from this bootleg and tell me he's not on fire. His tone and in the pocket phrasing here is wonderful, not to mention his singing & the whole band. Cheers

At first i thought I would click on the link for a short listen. Now I listen to the whole thing. It's almost better than their studio recordings. To bad it's not on pitch. _________________ Fender Kingman, Sierra Crown D-10, Evans Amplifier, Soup Cube. |

Joel, you don’t have to convince me. Beginning at age 19 in the early ‘70s, I saw Little Feat live here in California in the George era about six times. I’m a huge Lowell guy.
Among my group of friends in those days the Feat was pretty much our unofficial favorite band. Though being in the Bay Area, a number of us were also fairly avid Deadheads. _________________ Mark

Nothin' "standard" about Lowell's slide guitar playing. It was quite original, and exceptional. |
