Hi,

Setting up my studio to record steel - has anyone used Guitar Rig as a sound processor for steel? I'm messing with it now and it seems like I might be able to make it work.

Landon,

I have, and it works great. The only problem I encountered is that the high frequencies tend to be a bit shrill at times. Other than that, the response is wonderful.

What interface are you using?

I am using a Presonus Firestudio mobile. Using graphic EQ (flat right now), tube compressor, delay man and iceverb. The iceverb, while it sounds counterproductive like it would promote shrillness, actually allows me to dial that out of the verb. Hoping to switch that attenuation over to the EQ but have not as of yet.

I need to record it (I use SONAR) in context and see how it sits.
