I just finished installing new strings and doing a thorough setup and lubrication on my friend, Dave's Emmons. I also set up the tunable splits for E9 strings 5, 10 and 6.
The E9 copedent is standard Emmons (with Es on the left) and the C6 is also standard Emmons (RKL lowers string 3 to B, RKR raises string 4 to A#).
This guitar is in very nice condition overall and it sounds incredible! It has that midrange growl that everyone loves in spades. It's one of the best sounding LeGrandes I've heard in quite a while. Dave has priced it very fairly, so I'd act quickly, if you're in the market for a nice, black mica LLG II D-10.
