do the larger sound chambers make these models louder acoustically? |

I haven't finished the more hollow one yet, that's what I am trying to determine. The rounder one has a hollow neck, but a solid redwood body... I wouldn't say it's much louder, acoustically, but is extremely hi fi. Also want to compare it to the more fully hollow one. I like the timbre and response, anyhow. A more microphonic pickup would get it even closer to a more "acoustic" vibe. These are brand new designs, both experimental. _________________ '84 Marlen Custom D-10, 8X4
