Is there a more current one? In another thread he said he lowers the first string a half and raises the sixth one and a half, I wondered if thats on a knee or floor, and which one. Sounds interesting. Love his quote about country music: "Hoping they'll make some soon". I think that at every gig lately.

On the copedent chart shown in the Forum's list of players' copedents, Paul's "latest" (1996!) tuning has LKV LOWERING the 6th string to E. In his own post about his new videos, Paul refers to using this change in "Ballerina", as indeed he does (and it's pretty, too). I believe older posted versions of his tuning show the 6th string G# to B raise (without a first string change), and of course we have his own present-day statement that he has that change now. Should we assume that he now has both on his guitar somewhere?
(Paul, if you're reading this, I apologize for referring to you in the third person!)

Till Paul gets here.I'm going to guess he has his guitars rodded for both the above mention changes. He just tightens down on the one he's in the mood for..

Bobby is correct. Paul answers this in the "For Paul Franklin...Compensators" thread.
