 OK Folks, I have a Jewell of a guitar here. Selling for the Widow of my long time friend and picking buddy Jerry Barnard, RIP. Carter D-10, Grey Front & Back with Black Top. He Custom ordered and it was delivered to him on July 1st, 2008. Serial #00778171 20. It has never been out on a gigging job, just played in his living room and bedroom. Very little even then. It is like new. 8 pedals & 5 knees. Day set up. It is just like the way I picked it up. No cleaning, polishing, no anything. It plays like a brand new one and sounds great. I have guitar here at my place, East Central Okla. near Ft. Smith, Ark. Case looks like brand new, been in the closet all of it life. I have his amp, seat, volume pedal that I will post under Amps For Sale. Any Questions contact me here on the forum P.M.

Anyone got any thoughts on this. I have had no nibbles.
Again let me say this guitar is like brand new. I have the invoice and Jerry gave $3270 in 2008. This is not for me, I am selling for Jerry's widow. I am not making a dime out of it. Maybe we have it priced to high. Someone make me an offer. Thanks, J.R.

Gentlemen, All I know is that Jerry Barnard ordered and brought this new in 2008. It was sent to him July 1st. 2008. I have the receipt also that has same info. I will look into this and see what you are reference to. J.R.

I can see that it has solid cross shafts instead of tubular. This is a big plus in Carter guitars.

Now have in my hand the original Carter Owner's Manual. Also have the original receipt. Will post pictures of them later. And this guitar does have BCT technology.

| The guitar has the 4 raise and 2 lower changer as all the later model Carters had. Also the serial number shows it to have been built in 2008. |
