My Fender Tele case fell shut and broke one of the latchs.
I contacted Fender and they were no help. Finally I figured out it was made by SKB Cases.
I contacted them to buy the parts and found it has a lifetime warranty.
They answered my email in about 15 Min and with in the hour the parts were shipped free of charge. Thank You.
Wow ! Super service from https://www.skbcases.com/ _________________ MSA 12 String E9th/B6th Universal.

Can't beat SKB customer service. One of my guitar pickin' buddies had an empty case fall and damage the case. The fall was blamed on my own actions, however, I told him to contact SKB...he did and they replaced it free of charge...saved my butt picking up the tab for a replacement. |

Not a case, but I have a Extang folding tonneau cover on my 2014 Nissan pickup truck. Over the past 6 years it has developed a few small holes in the canvas. I called them to ask about a repair kit, or recommended repair so I could fix it before it got to be a problem. They said they didn't have anything and really couldn't recommend a product. I said I'll just try to patch it up with some vinyl glue of some type. She asked do you have your proof of purchase, and I said I did. She said email it to her with a picture of some of the damage because they have a lifetime warranty. I did as instructed and I got an email in a few hours saying they had shipped me a new one. Didn't cost me a penny.
Its common to see people fussing about a company, but we also need to brag on them when they do good.

I hope you're right. I have a 30-35 year old SKB 4-space standard rack case, on which one of the curly receiver latches on the case itself just broke. I honestly doubt I have a receipt from back then. I keep 'em for a while, but eventually they disappear. It's a simple repair - the case itself is fine. |

As long as we're praising companies with great warranty service, I nominate Hercules guitar stands (they make stands for all kinds of stuff, not just guitars). I had two of them and the plastic parts began to deteriorate, become sticky, and eventually break.
Called the company to inquire about replacing the parts. Two new stands showed up in the mail two days later. |
