I've had this hanging around for years and it's finally time to admit that I'm never going to do anything with it. What you see is what you get: a mid '30s Audiovox 7-string body, with the original bronze bridge and nut, top plate (minus the nickel or duco paint), knob, and the original case. The original horseshoe magnet is inside, as are two bobbins (probably original) but the whole pickup needs to be rebuilt or replaced. It looks like someone did some additional routing of the wood under the top plate as well. The hard-wired cord is modern and there's no plug on it (just bare wire at the end). The finish is worn on the back but not too bad on the top and sides.
A nice project steel, especially if you want a 7-string.
$SOLD/shipped in the US.

That’s a cool steel! Any idea about the tuners that would best fit it? |

I have a second, complete, example of the same model and it has mandolin tuners. |
