For sale is a Remington Steelmaster triple 8 non pedal steel guitar. This model is built with Cocobolo wood which is more rare this one is said to be the only Steelmaster Remington built using this type wood . Steel is in good condition as you can see has some wear on the outside neck & there is a small hair line crack underneath the input jack which has been that way for years 24 inch scale sustain that last forever legs are adjustable comes with original case & leg bag. if the construction of that guitar is from solid cocobolo rosewood, then it is indeed a very special instrument. doubtful if you will see another one. cocobolo is a very good substitute for brazillian rosewood. it has some of the same grain patterns and the tonal quality is excellent. cool instrument. |

I love cocobolo. It's a dalbergia species (like rosewood)...that's just beautiful. A T8 in something that dense is going to be...hefty, that's for sure, but I bet it sounds wonderful!
I'd be severely tempted but just can't justify another console taking up real estate. Very fair price! _________________ Waikīkī, at night when the shadows are falling
