I don't think I would want it myself, the changer and the neck are all tied together. It appears to be anyway as far as I can tell from the pictures. [This message was edited by Colby Tipton on 08 May 2006 at 05:56 AM.] |

Never heard of this guitar name. Colby, what is the disadvantage of the neck and changer body being together? Just want to know your thoughts.

Check with Bobbye Seymore, he has sold a couple of these. I thinks these are pretty good steels. |

The neck fits over the changer like a Fessenden does. Guitar was built by Mr. Rittenberry of Rittenberry Guitars and One of his partners.

It might have tuning issues as a result, but then again it may have excellent tone also as a result. |

Finally, a guitar that is really better than it looks! Seriously.
Yes, Gary did build this guitar, yes I have sold about eight of them and they are seriously fine guitars.
Not beautiful, but I promise, it should be a guddern! It started out good,

Daniel,
It looked tied together in the picture, maybe I can blow it up somehow so I can see it better.
If Bobbe said it is a guddern, it must be. I guess I can be wrong sometimes. Fred, I think if the changer was tied to the neck it would make it difficult to work on and the changer needs to be tied to the body for the sound/tone. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong about the sound/tone part. |

The changer is not tied to the neck on this guitar. The changer sticks up through the neck, exectly like a "wraparound" Emmons original.

Thanks Bobbe, Daniel and Gary. I have been lined out on the construction on this instrument and I admit I was way wrong on what I thought I was seeing in the pictures.
Thanks Again
