Some sweet pedal steel by Ed on this one...sounds like a ZB Custom.

I just recently started exploring their music in the last two years. They were great. I had the Skip Spence solo record, Oar, for a long time before I heard the Grape.
Having been born in '63 I still have a lot of catching up to do! _________________ Dave Zirbel-

Moby Grape, one of my top five bands. Got to see the original lineup once and other incarnations about three times. My friends formed a Moby Grape tribute band in the 70's called the Grapenut Flakes. The bass player was at SF airport and ran into Jerry Miller and told him about the band and asked if he wanted to sit in. He said sure. Showed up to the Belmont Brewery. Played all night. It was great!! Steve Stills( He was a dick) came to pick him up to go to a party. Later on a couple of them got to be in a band with Jerry Miller. |
