A quick and dirty rendition of Pinball Wizard written by Pete Townshend and recorded by the Who in 1969. Played here on a homemade lap steel guitar made from a "JAG" Gibson EH150 Luthier plan. E tuning EBEG#BE low to high.
I hope you all enjoy,

Great playing & sound Mike. It's nice to see a "living" example of a JAG EH-150 guitar. I have one that is nearing completion but I've decided to go blond with mine just to be different. I have a VV Christianson pickup for mine.

Beautiful builds, both you guys. Mike is that a kit or did you scratch build it from the plans? Either way, great looking lap steel. What did you use for the binding? Everything looks perfect. I didn't know you built steels.

Thank you Peter!
Dennis you are doing a great job there. Be good to hear it when you are finished!
Hi Bill, I did not make the guitar. John from JAG guitars who makes the plans made it as a prototype from his plan! Unfortunately and very sadly John passed away a year ago. But you can still get the plans from his widow.
