Fender Squier Telecaster, Excellent Condition, Vintage Blond. I'm the original owner and I bought this guitar new in July 2017. Maybe 5 hours playing time with a few normal pick marks on pickguard. Guitar kept in a smoke/critter free music area and not taken out of my home. Reason for selling; I'm buying another Fender Guitar and this one has to go. Guitar is currently going for $399 new...my price is $280 shipped CONUS. PayPal preferred. If you have questions, please use Private Message here on the Forum. Thanks, Carl NOTE: Photos taken outside with a lot of sunlight marks reflecting...

Carl, that's not a "Fender" Telecaster! It's a "SQUIER" Tele made by Fender in China. I was interested until I saw from the pictures what it really is.....JH in Va.

Well Jerry, You are right. I sincerely apologize for misrepresenting this guitar. However, I did provide two clear photos of the headstock showing just what you said for the Forum readers to see. I wasn’t intentionally trying to deceive what this little guitar is. That being said, how does the $280.00 price sound to you...shipped which will be about $30. That leaves me about $250. Now, If I would have asked $500 and no photos for a USA made tele Squier, then I wouldn’t be doing right. I’ll adjust my ad accordingly and hope it meets with your approval. I asked for folks to Private Message me but I guess it was more convenient to square me up with this post to my ad. That’s what I’ve always done to others since I joined this Forum in 2004.

Just a follow up to Mr. Hayes’ post on my ad. My invoice from the music store I bought this guitar from states the following, “Fender Classic Vive Telecaster ‘50’s Electric Guitar, Vintage Blond”. That ‘s the exactly how I posted the original ad. Once again, anyone with just a little guitar knowledge would know it’s a cheap tele at a $280 shipped price NOT a USA made Telecaster. It’s a dandy little guitar but it ain’t high dollar. Thanks, Carl

I have the 60s version of your Squire Classic Vibe guitar. I am blown away how good it is. Good luck with your sale.

Appreciate it Doug. I played an old late ‘50’s Fender Musicmaster when I was a teenager back in the early ‘70’s and loved the short scale. I can’t/won’t pay $2,000 for an old one now but I ‘m after the Fender Duo Sonic...the blond with gold pickguard model. Has a short scale neck and really looks like the old Musicmaster I played. Thanks again, Carl

It most certainly is a real Telecaster. Squier by Fender Telecaster.

These Classic Vibe are fine little guitars and getting very good reviews. I think you have it listed at a very fair price Carl.

Are all Squiers made in china? I got the impression from some comments there were some made in the US, which seems unlikely to me. Thanks, nice guitar, some like Squiers better than US Fenders.

I use a Squier Classic Vibe Tele in the Ronstadt Revue. Great guitar without the big sticker price. I'm not concerned about people thinking "it's not a real Fender, blah, blah, blah." If it sounds good, use it. If it saves you money at the same time, so much the better.

I believe they moved from China to Indonesia recently on the current line of CVs.
