Reverb.com regularly sends me emails, usually of minimal interest. The latest had a great surprise, an article titled The Effects Rigs of 6 Modern Pedal Steel Guitar Players. Good information and performance links. Good stuff.

Good article, I don't mind email spam from reverb and sweetwater, they often have useful info in them.

When Guitar center was open i used to buy pedals and try them out for 2 hours and return them, the Xotic booster was one, nice full tone by itself but not better than a couple tube preamps before and after volume pedal.

Nice article, but not one Nashville session or road picker in that list.

Well, people here are so often saying pedal steel is “dying out”. Maybe it is dying only in Nashville, or a certain style is retreating and some new ideas are flourishing elsewhere.
