I'm considering a lockdown project, converting my 8-string console steel to a basic PSG. (See my wanted ad btw,)
I'm tuned lo-hi B C# E G# B C# E G#
It's my favourite tuning by far, I'd like to keep it if possible. Suggestions please regarding simple copedent ideas.
I was thinking raising one or both G#s, onevor both B's, and lowering one or both Es. It's only an idea at present, so pros and cons welcome. |

What you are choosing are the basic A-B pedals and the lever that lowers the Es (usually LKR). You can do a lot with those.....Pat. |

Agreed. Have the changes on both the relevant strings - you might as well while you're at it. _________________ Make sleeping dogs tell the truth!

I might just shelve the idea for now. It's a fine console steel, it seems originally it was going to be a PSG, hence the roller nut and complex bridge. The more I play it, the more I think it might be a bad idea to mess with such a good looking, great sounding guitar!
