So I'm gonna be getting the kit to add the B to Bb LKV change to my
D10 Mullen Royal Precision . Now my question is am I going to need to tear the underside apart to get the crankshaft in there or should it just pop in ? I hope it's a simple installation.
Thanks in advance ,

You should have no problem as a Mullen guitar is very easy to work on and the cross shafts will install very easily. Just look at the others already in place and install them the same way, piece of cake. Put string 5 in bell crank hole #4 and changer hole #5. Put string 10 in bell crank hole #4 and changer hole #5 as well. Keep in mind that hole # 1 is closest to the body of the guitar on both the bell crank and the changer which may different than other manufactures may indicate. If I was doing it, I would order two more rods so I could split the change which is simple to do and works very well and you use the same bell cranks. You would install a rod in hole #1 on the bell crank for both strings 5&10 and in "raise" hole #1 on the changer for both strings 5&10. Give Mike a call and he will set you up and gives great support. Good luck. |

Thank you Morton ,
I imagine all I have to do then is just unhook those rods to get the cross shaft in place .
What would be the split if adding those other rods ?
Thank you for your help,
