Hi, I wanted to share this recording as an example of the sound of my Ultra S-10. I am loving the sound it has in the studio. I've had a lot of compliments in the studio as to the fact that the guitar just stays in tune so well and the cab drop is minimal. Its probably a fair example of minimalistic playing as I've seen discussed on the forum. The song definitely did not lend itself to any busy playing.

I did some recording with my wife's GFI Expo S-10 about a year ago. I needed to track one song and my Franklin was loaded for a gig. I used the GFI (with a GFI II pickup) direct through a D.I. box to my MOTU recording interface unit. The track sounded as good as the other tracks with the Franklin.
The S-10 Expo was swapped and we now have a D-10 Ultra. |

Thanks guys. I do enjoy that guitar Jack. It has the GFI-II as well. Just a joy to play. The guitar was run direct to a tube preamp (can’t remember the make) into the board.
I’ll try and post some other recordings w the GFI and my ole ‘Bud.
Thanks again. EO _________________ GFI S-10 Ultra (GFI II pickup)

Hi - most of the other tunes I used on recent recordings have not been final mixed or have yet to be released so I thought I’d throw one out there using my Sho Bud. Love that guitar too. Just a different beast but a great guitar as well. Another artist out of VT that I was lucky enough to play for. Ben Fuller. Again Mr McCaffreys excellent production and musicianship. Eric
