Both have SOLD...you can place an order online, or I will post new builds when available. Thanks for the support everyone!!

We have one more of our beautiful, newly designed Maverick HD's we are releasing into the world. We are hoping to have these in full production later this year. In the meantime, we are releasing them as they are built. So each is still hand-built by David and Harry Jackson. All have that classic Sho-Bud sound and we have had nothing but stellar reviews from the people that have tried and/or scored one so far.

To get an idea of what they sound like, here's a video of Tim Sergent playing one in Harry's shop: https://youtu.be/v3Xl9Og-E2o

Both come with our standard single coil pickup (same as we used in the Sho-Buds, designed by Shot Jackson). These two will be sold on first-ordered basis, but we are also taking new orders now. Delivery time on new builds is approximately 6-8 weeks.

Note: This goes back to our Permanent design, meaning they have a fixed setup only. See chart below. If you want one of our guitars with a custom pedal setup, please take a look at our Pro V model.

Info and photos here: https://www.jacksonsteelguitar.com/product/maverick-hd-pedal-steel-guitar/

When you order, please make note in the Comments section that you saw it first here on the forum so we can throw a bone!

Price is $2000!

Hi Miike!
Unfortunately we are not offering modifications to the pedal setup on the Maverick.

Thanks,
Dawn

You get the D# to E raise on the 4th string - I do anyway...

Mike, yes that is possible and very easily accomplished yourself with a few parts you can either make or buy if not from Jackson, several other places.

In addition, you can easily change the whole copedant around to what ever you like once you receive the guitar. All the parts look movable/removable.

I think the lowers are a bit tricky to move around because of the counterspring setup. This is, after all, a Permanent type changer. Adding a second string raise or any string to be both raised and lowered would also take a balancing mechanism like they have on 4 and 8.

Dawn, can I order the parts from you to add a 6th string lower? Is the neck a raised neck, can't tell from pics. Thanks

Never mind, just read the description again.

Beautiful. It looks like it's gold in the pictures... is it? Or is that just a reflection of something in the light?
