A few questions for those who have replaced the stock magnet with a Peavey neo replacement magnet on a Black Widow 1501-4 frame:

1) Do you notice any change in sound? If so, please explain.
2) How much of a weight difference did you experience?
3) Is it simply a matter of removing the three existing machine screws, lifting out the old magnet, setting the neo in the frame, and reinstalling the screws? Are there any tricks to the process, or is it relatively straightforward?
4) If the opportunity presented itself, would you do it again?

1) No change in sound or performance
2) at least 8 pounds (the difference in weight between original and Neo)
3) yes, if I can do it, anybody can do it...really straight forward; just be careful not to bend the speaker's cardboard(?) perimeter ring when installing the new magnet onto speaker
4) Most definitely

The late Jim Evans ran frequency response curves both with and without a neo magnet. He summarized that the Neo was a bit smoother in the response curve. I doubt any of us could probably hear much difference.
