I've got this sweet little '69 S-10 Bud. It's got two knees on it now, a LKR and a RKL. That's where my E levers go on any guitar, so I'm happy with that.

But I want to ad a RKR with a half stop. Can anyone share photos of a rack & barrel RKR mechanism? I'm curious how it goes and how it fits.

Thanks,
Brad

Brad; here's a couple of pics of a S-10 Rack&Barrel RKR area...of course; it all depends the positioning of what is currently on YOURS; that will determine where and how it is set up....NO TWO Sho~bud's were ever the same...ha...
But if you order the correct stuff from Michael Yaul at www.psgparts.com; he will send you exactly what will fit and the "Half Stop" mech for a Rack system.
(course this is "Day" set up so the RKR pulls different strings; but that's where it goes)

I find the half-stop mechanism isn't needed with the RKR lowering strings 2 and 9. The RKR hits string 9 very close to the D note on string 2.

Ricky has some string gauges he recommends to improve the accuracy of this change.

Hi Brad,

Here is a photo of the right knee levers on a '74 #6139 that I restored a few years ago.

I added levers to this '73 #6139 a few years ago. If I remember correctly, the RKR kit came from James Moorhead.
