The Omni volume pedal uses a power adapter with a reverse polarity from most wall warts. Negative on the outer sleeve and positive in the core. 9v. If you have an original Omni cord, I could use it. Yes, I do use the battery most of the time, but I'd like the cord too. |

Dunno which type plug you have there Jim, but maybe this adapter cable will work for you.
If you can tell me what your plug looks like, male, female etc., I probably have a polarity reversing adapter cable from a kit that will work for you. I'd be most happy to send you one, no charge. JO. |

Jerry, It is the male end like the ones pictured on the website you show. The adapter you show may well do the trick. Also like the ones you would use on a Boss pedal. |

I have this polarity reversing cable with standard Boss type plug ends. It's a spare from a 9v adapter kit. You're welcome to it if you want it. I can send it out Monday via snail mail no charge to you. If you need it faster, then it would have to be Priority Mail and a fee or $8.30.
Lemme know if you want it. JO. |

Good enough. Got the address. Will send out Mon.
Might have gotten ahead of myself. You already have a power adapter, but it's the wrong polarity right? So this cable would just reverse the polarity from neg to pos.
There should not be any problems doing this as long as your pedal used DC voltage. You might consider checking with the Goodrich people just to be sure that your power adapter meets the voltage and mA output requirements for the Goodrich pedal. JO. |

I went through my 4 wall warts and I noticed on close examination, there is a chart of the base that indicates the polarity. So, I found the one that was made for the Omni pedal. Jerry, I appreciate your help and I will make a donation to the Forum.
Bob, please close. |
