I’m now the proud owner of a beautiful 1972 Sho~Bud Professional. The tone that comes from this guitar is absolutely amazing, and it is by far the best sounding steel I’ve ever played. I couldn’t be more pleased. It currently has two knee levers, but I’m going to add two more soon. The original owner was a rancher from White Pine County, Nevada named George Mallas. His nephew Vince told me great stories of memories about stormy days on his Uncle George’s ranch, filled with beautiful sounds of this steel in a letter he sent with it. I am so grateful for this steel, and I’m looking forward to playing it as much as I can... and most importantly, hopefully making George proud! Below are a few photos of it, and a great one of George playing it.
