Larry has been building unique instruments for decades - AND for many notable national recording stars. Check his page. This ‘weissenheimer,’ as he likes to call them, has a solid Honduran mahogany body. He procures his wood from the source and always sustainably. In this case it’s wood from a tree blown down during a hurricane in the 90’s. The face plate and end strips are burled rosewood. The fretboard is ebony scavenged from a wood sculpture he purchased at a flea market. Fret markers are a variety of old US and Latin American coins. (Note: one ‘half-coin†fret marker seems to be missing. Will hunt for it, but it doesn’t affect the play.) Grover tuners.
Guitar is in great shape with no damage or issues. Some typical play wear marks
This guitar has what I’d call that great Old Gibson tone - plenty of bark and bite for blues and folk and even a little rock. (I usually had it tuned to open G or open D.

If I have them, a spare set of strings (strings on it are very recent)
This is a unique instrument so I feel pretty firm on a damn fair price.
