A couple of months ago I built and shipped a guitar to a very nice gentleman in Switzerland,,he was very patient considering my problems with arthritis,,,anyway, he just sent me this very nice note from Switzerland and I thought I'd share it with the forum,,,,

Hey Sonny,

In this weird period, I thought I'd send you a quick message, just to let you know that I'm very happy with the lap steel you built for me! I'm progressing with it, maybe not as fast as I'd like because I still mostly play and learn pedal steel Winking But I have come to see it as an instrument in its own right, not just the "practice board" I initially contacted you about! And I'm seriously working these grips and slants... And of course I appreciate how portable it is! By the way I've already changed strings twice, once to try an E13th tuning, and the second time a few day later to get back to C6 Winking

I hope you are staying safe and away from coronavirus in Texas!

Take care,

Aris

Indeed, I'm very happy with the guitar! Here it is:

And Sonny you are too modest, it was delivered within quite reasonable delays.

My only regret is that I should have asked you to install legs! Well I guess I can find someone to do it around me--I'll get in touch for some advice if this becomes reality!

Well it’s nice to now that it has a twin in Texas! Do you also tune it in CFACEGACED?

Thanks for the kind words Joe, and take care!

Very nice. I had a Kline 12 string universal pedal steel for a while. And, I regret that I sold it.

It had a keyless tuner like your new one has.

I really liked it, especially when it comes time to change strings.
