I'm sorry to hear of Doc's passing...I met him once while on the road with Porter Wagoner...he will be missed.

Thank you for the post Steve...So sorry to hear this. Doc was a dear friend and the reason I started playing steel. I met him when he came to Omaha, and was totally amazed by his steel playing....A true gentleman in every sense of the word..He will be sorely missed by a lot of us...Rest in peace old friend!!
