Interesting choice for the camera angle. Its a good look at your right and left hand technique, and the way you wear your picks.
Beautifully played, as usual.

Thanks Fred. Yes, the angle is different on this one. This was a quick demo I made in 2017 and posted here on the forum. I took a fresh look at it today and thought it might be good enough to make public on YT.

This E9 tuning is an easy retune from C6. A standard C6 set of stings will work: 014, 017, 020 (or .022), 026w, 030w, 036w (or 34w).

Tune strings 2, 3, 4 down 1/2 step, and tune string 6 up a whole step.

Tab:

C6    E9

E     E
C --- B
A --- G#
G --- F#
E     E
C --- D

Wonderful job Doug. I remember Curly Chalker doing this song long ago. Sounds so good on that lap steel.

Thanks Jeff, this one I recorded in a different way. I played though a small set of powered computer speakers and I placed my iPhone next to one of the speakers. Also used a Holy Grail reverb and a BOSS delay.
