Went over and met with Roy Thomas the Pedal Master builder the other day. Roy was good enough to give me a few parts for this wild idea i have about putting a pedal on my lap
steel.---Fellows its been a long time since i have had the benefit of meeting a more honest and upstanding gentlemen.---After sitting down in front of one of Roy's double 8 string pedal steels the urge to buy that steel was all consuming.--Now i am just a rough lap steel player and i was wanting input if it would be wise to jump to a steel such as a double 8 even though i can hardly play my lap steel.

Pete, Take the JUMP, think of it a Bungy jumping or Hang gliding one you do it you will love it. I played lap top since I was 12, and I made the Jump about a year ago and you don't want to know my age. If you love Steelin, this will be an experience you will not regret. Whether you go S10 D10, go for it!!!!!!!!!!
