Two of the knee levers are more towards the center and are only used when playing C6th. The two pedals to the right can work something on both necks and now you've got 4 knee levers going for each neck.

as John as stated, almost..

You can have more than 1 knee lever in a similar position for one leg..

You move your leg forward or backwards to access it, normally they are staggered and the odd one is a pull or lower that you may not use as often as the dominant one.

Years back the late Jimmy Crawford did this with multiple positions, it was then termed the Crawford Cluster..this config is still found on many Steels and also set presidence for other configurations.

Remember rule #1.

there are no rules..

I have always thought the more levers the better. Shoot, I wish I had a dozen on mine. Some people might think I knew what I was doing.

I have a couple with 10 knee levers. Besides having a set of center knees for the C6th neck, I have separate right knee levers for each of the two necks.

I have the same setup on my Fulawka, however, Ed uses a unique crossover method of neck selection with a couple of small push/pull knobs.
