OK Folks, Here we have a 1982 model p/p Classic Black D-10. Taken apart and cleaned and set up properly last Summer by my Emmons Guru friend Henry Matthews. Plays and Sounds like an Emmons should. It is a Beauty. Polished metal top and bottom. Looks almost like new. Serial #2885. It has just been setting in my music room with very little play time. Someone needs to put this beauty to work. Original Pickups. Best playing Emmons I ever set down at. You will LOVE it. $3500 shipped to you or delivered to you at Dallas Show. J.R. Rose

JR Henry is one of if not the best P/P technician I ever met. Your buyer is getting a great guitar serviced by not only a master but one great person.

Thanks guys for the nice compliments. Yes, this is one extraordinary guitar. It really sounds great and plays easy. I completely disassembled this guitar, cleaned all parts and lubed the ones that we supposed to be lubed, put new lithium grease for cross rods holes and put back together. The changers were not worn at all but did polish the axles and greased the changers. This guitar also has a great half stop on 2nd string that is very positive and also the split tuning on the sixth string to lower a half and a whole tone by using A pedal to get half which works very well. I think the 80’s push pulls are some of the best. My friend, Robbie Primm with Gene Watson Farewell Party’s Band plays an 82 push pull and gets tone to die for just using a Nashville 112 amp and nothing else.

Thanks Henry for your input and yes I forgot to mention that the 1/2 stop feel on the 2nd string is excellent.
And Thanks to Damir and to Mike who has been absent on here for some time so it was good to here from him. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your nice comments. J.R. Rose

And Yes, It has it's original case which has wear but that is what it is for, to protect the guitar. Will try to post pictures tomorrow. J.R.
