Selling Fender Deluxe-8, 8 string lap steel in excellent condition. Based on serial number (6112) this instrument was manufacture prior to 1960. Asking price is $975 firm plus shipping if applicable.
This guitar was originally owned by Frankie Kay who was Cowboy Copas steel guitar player circa 1950. Frankie is deceased and I am helping family dispose of equipment.

I sold two of these about 5 years ago when I hit some uncertain times so I’m definitely jumping on this Smile

Great catch. That was the steel I took lessons from Ernie Ball on (in the darker finish). I'd love to have one again.

I think this one went for cheap! Anyway, it's not pre-1964, since the case is black. Is it missing the legs? Not so cheap then. Nice condition.
