I have been around steel guitars all my life. My father is 80 yrs old and I know he has played one for about 65 of those years (and still does very well I might add). At this present time he has 2 ZUM double necks. For some reason he bought basically a beginner steel off of a friend of his. It was in fairly poor shape and he asked me if I would basically rebuild it. I'm at the point where I need to glue the polished aluminum trim pieces and formica on problem is the aluminum trim piece for the bottom of the front panel is missing. Please could someone let me know where I can get 1/4 inch x 1/16 inch or preferably 5/16 inch x 1/16 inch aluminum trim pieces. Smallest I've found to polish myself is 1/2" x 1/16" and it's pretty much impossible to cut down without a band saw.
Sorry for the long post.
Thanks in advance, Joe Adams |

Ok, I'll send an email and thank you very much Mike. My father just told me that he has owned 5 Mullen steel guitars over the years. Said they are great guitars. Just thought it would be nice to let you know that.
Have a great weekend, Joe Adams |

I bought a pretty blue formica piece from Mike @ Mullen. They are very nice to deal with. |
