Many of us play steel & another instrument...in my case, Melobar slide. Has anyone asked or had Sage build them a Benado with 2 inputs? _________________ Franklin #130, Melobar Skreemer, Wechter Scheerhorn Resonator, Nashville 112, Boss DD 3

One of these (or something similar) would likely do the trick:

good idea as well but they need to be switchable.each guitar has a volume pedal & in case they move accidentally, i would want button switches _________________ Franklin #130, Melobar Skreemer, Wechter Scheerhorn Resonator, Nashville 112, Boss DD 3 |

My Morley AB box sucked tone. Those HOSA adaptors do the same thing, at least in my experience. _________________ E9 INSTRUCTION

I haven't had that experience, at least to the degree that it makes much difference. My only application has been to connect two lap steels on a stand into a Morley, to an old Sho-Bud volume pedal, to an amp. I have three Sho-Bud pedals, each with a different pot (original Allen & Bradley, new Dunlop, and newer Goodrich). I have two or three Morley ABYs of different vintages (they've been in production forever). Each one houses different components -- likely whatever was available when they were manufactured. I mix and match the VPs and the ABYs at will. I have found that I can make adjustments to the controls on the instruments and/or the amp to get a sound that's acceptable to me. But my old ears ain't what they used to be. And if people say my tone sux, I can always blame it on the tone-sucking Morley! |

The tone suck wasn't drastic, but was noticeable to me, and not acceptable. _________________ E9 INSTRUCTION

Back to my original post, I purchased a STEEL DREAM to not have so many pedals to deal with & I thought it had 2 inputs, so I bought one.... but realized when I got it, it did not...so I sold it. I think it’s quite a price increase to have another input installed. Just wondered if anyone had done this. I don’t want to add an AB type box, because I’ll be right back to where I started... _________________ Franklin #130, Melobar Skreemer, Wechter Scheerhorn Resonator, Nashville 112, Boss DD 3 |
