I know George L makes these pick-ups. I’m wanting to know the specs on this pick-up. I’m not sure but I think they are made with the iron blade magnets. I’m wondering what the ohms is on those pick.-ups? I’m just wondering what is different with those pick-ups that are different than the other George L pick-ups that are made, or what George L pick-up it’s close to. Is close to an E-ON, a PF-1 or a 10-1?

This should answer your inquiry regarding GFI pickups. I’ve played GFI for many years with numerous pickups. I didn’t stay with any of the GFI pickups preferring the George L SS, which is the same as the 10-1 using stainless blades rather than iron.

I used Emmons single coils wound to 20K which I preferred over the previous pickups. After some others, including a direct comparison of original Lawrence 705’s, I settled on the re-issue 705’s and have no intention of ever changing. Perfect match to my ears across the entire spectrum.
