Hi,

I'm pleased to be able to share my transcription of "Variations of a Theme - Part 1" composed by Tommy White and Lloyd Green. I started working on this transcription several years ago, but put it on hold as it had numerous passages that I could not figure out at that time. Having gained much more E9th insight, in particular regarding the use of the C pedal and the 2nd string lower (and combinations thereof), I have finally arrived at a complete transcription.

I'm very grateful to Tommy and Lloyd for their approval of my sharing a transcription of their beautiful composition.

The transcription will be available shortly in the repository on Walter Stettner's tribute web site, but in the meantime you can download the document from here:

A recording of the transcribed composition is available here:

Best regards,

-- Jan

Thanks Jan. I cant wait to start on this. You do a fine job tabbing Lloyd Greens Beautiful music. Im still working on some of your great transcriptions...im getting ready to do "Hogans Dream". If anyone wants to learn some Lloyd Green licks...I highly recommend Jan's tab. Again Thank you very much.

Bill Sutton.

I definitely need a better half stop on the second string for this song.
