Not exactly an attic find, but this beautiful steel spent virtually all of its life in its case under a bed for the last 20 years. It is a 1999 black Carter S-10 Professional model with three pedals and five knee levers in its original stock configuration (Emmons E9).
The instrument is in excellent-plus to near-mint condition. There is some barely visible clouding in the metal on the right side where it has rubbed against the case interior, and the pedals have rubbed a bit against the vinyl storage bag for the legs. Both would disappear with some buffing. There is no visible playwear.
Listing includes:
- instrument, including original tuning wrench and owners manual
- original hardshell case
- original Goodrich Model 120 volume pedal (VG)
- three tone bars (EX)
- a four-volume instructional set from Jeff Newman, "Up from the Top" (does not include CD or DVD) (EX)
- a wonderful bag of period advertising material that shipped with the instrument
