"Hag at the Churn" C6th - Blocking exercise via a tune

Here's a fun way to practice your electric steel blocking using actual music instead of exercises. "Hag at the Churn" is a traditional Celtic jig that's fun to play and a genre not often heard on electric steel. Jig rhythm has a cool "rolling on the waves" feel as you cycle through the A/B sections multiple times.

If you listen to the many renditions of this tune on YouTube, you can hear the different traditional ornamentations people add to the basic melody - most commonly, playing some notes as triplets.
