I have this Derby Lap, I wanted to expand from 8 to 10 like MSA Super Slide.
Scale is 24-1/4â€, bridge and everything is from Derby Pedal, so the tone is much closer to
Pedal steel than lap steel. Played a little, experimented with different tuning, etc.
and that’s about it. Is there anyone looking for something like this at fair price?

No legs. There’s rubber “anti-skid” sheet at the bottom but adhesive started plasticizer migration so I cleaned it up completely without no harm for the finish. Yes, I still have that rubber sheet.
Size-wise, it’s classic pedal steel length, except narrower than S-10.
Price wise, I’ll let go at $1,000, for $600 I’ll keep it. So I’d say $850 happy medium. |
