I was wondering what the general consensus on the value of the BMI I have listed for trade is. It seems an 8 string dobro is out of the question, so I would like to sell the PSG. It's a Black Mica BMI, 3+3, late 80s model. It has its original case, the outside of which is marked up from packing peanuts, but it's functional.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If I were selling my '83 S-10 3+4 BMI (two levers were added later (legit BMI parts)) I'd probably ask around $900 which I would consider a high-side price. I'd work down from there, depending on depth of motivation to sell.

Let me add that maybe I'll learn something about the market value from this thread and rethink that number.

I sold an older one five or six years ago, 3 and 3, for $700. It still played good and sounded good, but had a lot of wear showing in some of the parts, which is why I sold it. Yours looks clean, and should be worth $700 to $900. This would make some beginner on a budget a nice guitar. Larry J.

My experience is the same as Larry's.
