The world’s greatest steel player backing the world’s greatest singer. How can you get any better than this?

That's a great find Dave.
I have not heard this, but am recording it now and will listen many times in the future. _________________ AUTHORIZED George L's, Goodrich, Telonics and Peavey Dealer: I have 2 steels and several amps. My current rig of choice is 1993 Emmons LeGrande w/ 108 pups (Jack Strayhorn built for me), Goodrich OMNI Volume Pedal, George L's cables, Goodrich Baby Bloomer and Peavey Nashville 112. Can't get much sweeter. |

In '65 would this have been recorded through a mixing board because it sounds pretty good for live. |

Don Adams(bass player/harmony singer on this album)said that only 3 mics were used in the recording of this album. |

Thanks! - A great reason to listen to this album again. Just realized the "Live at Dancetown USA" CD cover is not the gig - it's the Adams Brothers but that's Sonny Curtis in the photo on the far left:
Also this reissue is not the gig - it's the Adams Brothers but with Georgie Riddle who was not on the band then:
Speaking of 60's amps - I bet that's an Emmons into a Standel. |
